We're reader-supported. Here's exactly how we make money and how we keep it separate from our recommendations.
How we earn money
Some links on this site – mainly the "View offer" buttons – are affiliate links. If you click one and order a test, the provider (or the affiliate network that manages its programme) may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the provider directly.
In future we may also earn money from sponsorships in our email newsletter and from display advertising. Sponsored content and ads will always be clearly labelled as such.
How affiliate links are labelled
- Every "View offer" button has a short note directly underneath saying whether it's an affiliate link.
- Pages with affiliate links carry a disclosure before the first link, and the site footer repeats it on every page.
- Affiliate links are marked in the page code with
rel="sponsored nofollow", as search engines ask.
Commissions don't change our rankings
- Scores follow our published methodology. Commission rates aren't part of it.
- We include relevant providers whether or not they have an affiliate programme or a partnership with us.
- Providers can't pay to be included, reviewed or ranked higher.
- If a partnership ends, the provider's score doesn't change because of it.
Current affiliate relationships
We currently have no affiliate partnerships, and no links on the site earn us a commission. We'll list every provider or affiliate network we work with here before any affiliate link goes live.
What happens when you click
An affiliate link takes you to the provider's website. The provider or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology on their site to record that you came from us. That happens under their privacy policy, not ours. We never receive your health information or test results. See our privacy policy for details.

We aim to follow the advertising disclosure rules that apply to our readers, including the UK CAP Code (ASA), EU consumer protection law and the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides. If anything here is unclear, contact us.
